BE KIND REWIND
In this project, I teamed up with Mary Bruno of Bruno Press to bring a bold, vintage-inspired poster to life. I helped collaborate on the layout, picked an adorably groovy, fat, bubble typeface, and digitally mocked up our initial designs. She then hand-carved our design onto a singular linoleum block for a reduction print, and together we printed a limited edition of prints on her Vandercook letterpress. We also filmed a Did Ya Know? video documenting the process from start to finish.
This collaboration was a turning point for me as a young designer. Being able to bridge my digital skills with traditional printmaking and the opportunity to work side-by-side with an artist I admire deeply and consider to be my mentor was unforgettable and invaluable.

ADDITIONAL POSTERS
Alongside the Be Kind Rewind poster, I also have collaborated with Mary Bruno on two additional letterpress posters. For each, I worked closely with Mary to develop the initial layout, selected the typography, and helped shape the visual direction. Once finalized, she hand-carved the designs into linoleum blocks, set the type, and we brought the posters to life on her Vandercook press.
These projects have have strengthened my ability to translate digital concepts for print. Each collaboration has been an opportunity to learn through doing. These collaborations have taught me how to navigate the boundaries of both digital and physical design, and find the place where they meet to create magic. Working with traditional tools and techniques while thinking like a contemporary designer has only helped sharpen my technical skills and shape my approach to design.
The prints we have created together are a true testament to what happens when you collaborate with creators who push you, challenge you, and believe in your potential. These opportunities have played a powerful role in shaping the designer Iām still becoming.
